The sacrogluteal skin is one of the favourite regions for psoriasis. Sharply demarcated, confluating red patches that are more or less covered by silvery hyperkeratotic scales, are typical clinical findings. There is no cure, but the symptoms can be eliminated or relieved temporarily by e.g. topical corticosteroids, calcipotriol, emollients, possibly combined with UV therapy.
