Morpheic type of basal cell carcinoma in the vicinity of an eye. There may be telangiectasiae, some sclerodermoid resemblance, and the limits of the hiding tumour may be difficult to define. Stretching of the skin often helps to show the real (wide!) extent of the tumour. Morphea-type basal cell carcinoma ulcerates late. The preferred treatment method is excisional surgery of Mohs' type. Careful follow-up for 5 years is of utmost importance.
