Subcorneal pustular dermatosis, also known as Sneddon-Wilkinson disease, is a chronic pustular skin eruption. The fluid in the blisters is sterile, and the blisters rupture and scale off in a collar-like manner while new blisters appear. The armpits and trunk are the predilectory sites. Impetigo is excluded by bacterial culture. Other differential diagnostic options include drug reactions, pustular psoriasis and IgA pemphigus.
