Circumscribed scleroderma (morphea, localized scleroderma) under the breast. The typical features consist of diffuse, reddish, expanding periphery and a shiny, pale centre that gradually hardens and becomes inelastic. The patches are often multiple. A small proportion of cases may be caused by Borrelia. The disease is usually self-limiting. The understanding about the best treatment is evolving. The patient is referred to a dermatologist.
