Juvenile xanthogranuloma in the opening of a nostril. The tumour with an orange hue has clear margins and a hemispheric or nodular shape. It is most commonly located in the head region. The tumours may be congenital or acquired. The may be surgically removed but they will often disappear spontaneously. Differential diagnostic alternatives include Spitz naevus and mastocytoma.
