Scattered Becker's naevus on the back

This Becker’s naevus has a particularly fragmented structure with the risk of it being misinterpreted as pityriasis versicolor. Becker’s naevus does not scale off at all when scratched, and the pigmentation is permanent. Pityriasis versicolor is usually more symmetrical and consists of spots with quite distinct margins that partly merge together in a map-like fashion.
