Cochrane reviews
-
There is weak evidence to suggest that long-term treatment of patients with chronic recurrent toxoplasma chorioretinitis may reduce recurrence .
- There appears to be no significant differences in the effects of pyrimethamine plus sulfadiazine versus pyrimethamine plus clindamycin or trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole on mortality or cure rates in the management of toxoplasmic encephalitis in HIV-infected adults .
- Prenatal education for preventing congenital toxoplasmosis seems to have a positive effect in terms of improving women's behavior during pregnancy, but the evidence is insufficient .
