- Plasma alkalinisation with NaHCO3 in acute poisoning with organophosphorus pesticides may improve outcomes although there is no evidence from controlled trials .
- Oximes seem not to be a useful treatment for organophosphate pesticide poisoning but evidence from good quality trials is lacking .
